Avon calling Courteney Cox
-Posted by: Quivi at 06th June 2009
Courteney Cox has always had that fresh, clean look. No wonder she was cast as Monica, the neat-freak member of the crew on Friends.
So it was high time the actress, 44, came out with her own fresh, clean fragrance with Avon, called Spotlight.
The Alabama native -- who next appears as a recently divorced single mother in ABC's comedy Cougar Town -- knows about spotlights. Cox, who is married to Scream costar David Arquette, has been trolling Hollywood for more than 20 years, starting out as a flight attendant in As the World Turns in 1984. ... Read More ...

Courteney chats with Brad
-Posted by: Megan at 08th May 2009
The actress, who shot to fame with her portrayal of Monica Geller on the hit sitcom Friends, had reportedly turned up with her husband David Arquette at the Wiltern Theater in LA.
The Dirt star had been attending the final stop of rocker Chris Cornell's Scream album tour when she ran into Pitt, and was seen having a gala time with him.
"Instead of ignoring him, Courteney chatted away with Brad all night. The three were in great spirits and seemed really happy to see each other," the New York Post quoted a backstage source as saying.

Will Coco be Hollywood's Next Design Star?
-Posted by: Megan at 25th April 2009
Move over Chanel — it looks like there’s another designing Coco on the rise. David Arquette tells PEOPLE.com that his aptly-named four-year-old daughter with wife Courteney Cox Arquette is already an aspiring designer — just like her papa, who recently launched the casual-wear line Propr. During a City Harvest benefit dinner at Cipriani in N.Y.C. on Tuesday, the actor talked with PEOPLE.com about Coco’s foray into fashion. “She actually did paint a little red dress,” said Arquette. “She said, ‘Here, Daddy. I painted this for Propr.’ She designed her own beautiful red dress. And it has a little heart shaped top. It was very elegant, something you could wear tonight.” But will young Coco’s design ever be produced? “We’ll probably put that in [the line] for next Spring,” said Arquette. “She’s just a very girly girl. She’s really into fashion. She gets a lot of clothes.” And while David is known for his sense of humor, when it comes to Coco’s clothing we’re hoping that he’s all business. — Reporting by Jeffrey Slonim

Fairweather Friends
-Posted by: Megan at 19th April 2009
The title song blared "I'll be there for you," but audiences and critics have been largely lukewarm to the big screen endeavours of TV's former favourite Friends. With Matthew Perry resurfacing in 17 Again this week, it's time to consider whether Friends' "friends" were only of the fairweather variety.
As breadwinning, social misfit Chandler Bing, Perry easily racked up the sitcom's most one-liners, quips and punchlines. But his insecurity-laced, perma-sarcasm could sound a bit like a broken record towards the end of the highly successful series.
The question always was could Perry's relatively one-dimensional brand of comedy translate to the big screen -- where, admittedly, many one-trick ponies have had lucrative careers? As Perry takes another kick at the can, we grade the Friends' movie careers up to this point. ... Read More ...

Cougartown
-Posted by: Megan at 16th April 2009
A cougar is on the prowl in Seal Beach today.
Not to fear though, it's not the real thing. This cougar is an attractive and a middle-age single mom – completely harmless, unless you're a 20-something-year-old man.
ABC is using Seal Beach as a location to shoot a pilot for its new comedy, "Cougartown," starring Courteney Cox.
Cox and Bill Lawrence, the creator of Scrubs, are co-producing the show that highlights a 40-year-old mother (Cox), who is newly single and raising a 17-year-old son, according to the TV Week publication. ... Read More ...
