Courteney Cox said it felt `very natural` to be back on set of Scream

Actress Courteney Cox said it felt 'very natural' to be back on the set of Scream 4.
The 46-year-old star is reprising her role of Gale Weathers in the fourth Scream movie. It's been 11 years since the third film was released and she said it was surprising how easy it was to make a return.
She said to UK newspaper Daily Record: 'It felt very natural [to be back on set]. First of all, I've had 10 more years' experience of acting, so I was much more confident.
'Also, I'm now a mum, so I'm a different person coming back.'
The actress split from her husband and Scream co-star David Arquette last year.
Asked what happened, she said: 'I'm kind of all over the place, and I need grounding. I want to be calm. I want to change a lot. It's nothing to do with David, it's just what I'm searching for.'

Courteney Cox: I'd "Freak Out" if Jen Aniston Dated David Arquette

Sorry, Jennifer Aniston: David Arquette is off-limits!
During a candid interview on Howard Stern's SiriusXM radio show Thursday, Courteney Cox admitted she would "freak out" if her longtime BFF and former Friends costar ever got romantic with her estranged hubby, 39.
"That would just hurt me, because I have a real thing about friends," the 46-year-old Scream 4 actress explained. "She's one of my very best friends, so that would be weird."
Not that Cox believes Aniston, 42, would ever dream of pursuing a relationship with Arquette. "I would think that she cares too much about me to let that happen," Cox added.
"I'm not going to get her," Arquette interjected. "I don't want her."
After all, Stern said, Arquette has his eye on a much-younger star: up-and-coming singer Jessie J., 23.
Though Arquette claimed the pop star is "too young" for him, an unconvinced Cox warned: "I'll be looking her up later. Don't you worry."
Meanwhile, Cox -- who denied romancing her Cougar Town costars Josh Hopkins and Brian van Holt -- revealed she has "not had sex" since announcing their separation last fall.

Daughter Slams Courteney Cox For Not Doing Charity Work In Haiti

Courteney Cox's young daughter has challenged her mom's decision to take a lavish holiday instead of joining husband David Arquette on a charity mission to Haiti.
The "Cougar Town" star, who recently took a trip to the Caribbean island of St. Barts with her daughter and co-star Josh Hopkins, came under fire from six year old Coco for vacationing while Arquette reached out to help victims in the earthquake-ravaged country.
During an appearance on the "Late Show with David Letterman" on Wednesday, Cox said, "She (Coco) can come out with some mean ones, boy. I don't know if I should be sharing this but... (She said), 'Daddy goes to Haiti and you just put make-up on.' I was like 'Wow'... She did give me a low blow."

Courteney Cox says she and David Arquette not divorcing

Courteney Cox says she and David Arquette are not getting divorced and was not shocked her actor-husband shared intimate details of their personal life on Howard Stern's raunchy radio show.
Arquette and Cox, 46, announced their trial separation in October.
The couple married in June 1999 and have a six-year-old daughter named Coco. The pair also stars together in Scream 4, which is due for release on April 15, 2011.
"I would say the most courageous thing, and this is really personal, but I would say getting separated from someone after so many years of marriage and someone I love so much, just to take a moment and this is a trial separation," Cox told Australia's TV Week magazine.
"This is no – I am not – we're not – I don't know what will happen, but this is not like we're getting divorced," she said. This is a separation and I think that takes a lot of courage. That's for sure the biggest thing I've ever done. Whatever is supposed to happen will be the best thing for us.”
Arquette, 39, told Stern on his SIRIUS XM satellite radio show after the couple announced their trial separation that he and Cox had not been intimate in months. The actor later issued a public apology on his Twitter page for his comments.
"Sometimes you just realize 'Wow, we actually have grown apart,'" Cox said. "He's [David] a kook. It's not shocking and Howard Stern he loves him and I'm a fan of Howard Stern. I don't know that I would call him right now, but ... David is an entertainer and I’m sure the people who listen to the radio are entertained by his stories."
Cox also denied reports the two had an open marriage and says her former Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston, who divorced Brad Pitt in 2005 and guest-starred on Cox's ABC show Cougar Town earlier this year, has been helping her cope with her situation.
"We just have fun, we laugh, we're inseparable and it’s great," Cox said. "It’s funny, a lot of really close friends are kind of going through this right now or like Jennifer [who] has gone through it. I don't know what’s going on in the planets or what, but things are being shaken up and I don't know what’s going to happen, but, yeah, Jennifer has been amazing for sure."

Courteney Cox and David Arquette split, say they are on 'trial separation'

Courteney Cox and husband David Arquette say they have separated after more than 10 years of marriage.
Cox, the 46-year-old star of Cougar Town and Friends, and Arquette, 39, met in 1996 while filming the movie Scream and are currently working on a fourth installment of the horror franchise. They married in June 1999 and have a 6-year-old daughter named Coco.
"We have agreed to a trial separation that dates back for some time," the pair said in a press statement. "The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage. We remain best friends and responsible parents to our daughter and we still love each other deeply."
"As we go through this process we are determined to use kindness and understanding to get through this together," the statement said. "We are comfortable with the boundaries that we have established for each other during this separation and we hope that our friends, family, fans and the media also show us respect,dignity, understanding and love at this time as well."

Courteney Cox On Emmy Snubs & Aging

Courteney Cox — former “Friend” and star of ABC’s hit new comedy “Cougar Town” — is speaking out about being the only member of the “Friends” ensemble to never receive a Primetime Emmy nomination.
“My ego got really bruised. When everyone did but me, that doesn’t feel good at all,” Courteney said in an interview with Emmy Magazine. “There were certain years I thought, ‘Maybe I have a shot,’ like the Monica-Chandler years. But I don’t know how it happens and why… maybe I wasn’t ready.”
Courteney, 46, looks simply stunning on the cover of Issue No.4 of 2010’s Emmy Magazine series, but told the mag that “aging is nobody’s friend.”
“One second ago I was the youngest person on the set, and now I’m the oldest,” she said. “I’m so old, my joints hurt when I keep my legs crossed a certain way for too long. I need glasses to see a movie, to see the computer and to read a book. I was like really?”
The blue-eyed brunette also spoke about her reasons for not pursuing big screen films like her best friend and former “Friends” co-star, Jennifer Aniston, and how her confidence has increased with age.
‘I always talked myself out of going in to read. I don’t know if I had that much confidence,” Courteney said. “I was always thinking that I needed to do something else, be more mysterious… [Today] I’m much more content.”

Courteney Cox: 'Johnny Depp is adorable'

Courteney Cox has reportedly revealed that Johnny Depp is her secret celebrity crush.
The former Friends star, who is married to actor David Arquette, joked to People that she thinks Depp is "adorable".
"He's my favourite actor of our day. He's it. Don't get me wrong, I'm in love with my husband, but Johnny Depp is adorable!" she said.
The Cougar Town actress also revealed that her current favourite song is 'Empire State Of Mind' by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys, explaining: "My daughter can sing Alicia's whole part - I don't even know how she knows the words!"
Cox recently suggested that 5-year-old Coco could become an actress in the future, saying: "She's so dramatic already. She laughs hard. She pouts hard. She cries hard. She loves hard. If she can't find something, it's the end of the world."

Courteney Cox and David Arquette considering adopting another child

Courteney Cox plays a man-hungry divorcee on the prowl in "Cougar Town," but off-screen, the actress is a doting wife and mother who may be expanding her brood.
Cox’s husband, actor David Arquette, recently revealed the couple has been considering giving their 5-year-old daughter, Coco, a little sister or brother.
Cox, 45, underwent in-vitro fertilization for her first pregnancy at age 39.
"I don't know. I mean, it takes a lot for us to do it, so maybe adoption," Arquette, 38, said on "The Bonnie Hunt Show." "Listen, I like practicing as much as possible! But it's hard ... I'm exhausted!"
Last year, the National Enquirer reported that the couple was planning to adopt a child after Cox "reached a point where she feels it’s hopeless to keep trying to get pregnant."
Though at the time, the actress’ rep called the story "a complete fabrication," it seems as though Arquette is now singing a different tune.
As for what makes his 9-year marriage to Cox so successful, Arquette credits hard work and commitment.
"There's a lot to relationships in general. You just have to really work at them. They're not easy, and you have to ... be kind to each other and ... figure out what each other's ... buttons are and figure out how not to push them," he said. "You can't leave your heart open. You have to be committed."
